Assessment Roll and Taxation
Municipal taxes in Hinchinbrooke are collected in three instalments spread throughout the year.
First installment: March 30th, 2025.
Second installement: June 28th, 2025.
Third installement: September 29th, 2025.

Accepted modes of payment
In person at the town hall by cash, check, or debit card. Checks can also be sent by mail.
The municipality can now accept online payments from the following financial institutions: BMO, Caisse Desjardins, CIBC, Laurentians, National Bank, Scotiabank, RBC, and TD. To proceed with making a payment online; you must add the “Municipality of Hinchinbrooke” as a bill on your bank account. When prompted for a reference number you would use the matricule/file number of the property. This number is the property’s unique, permanent identifier, which remains the same for any future payments you would like to make.
The municipality cannot accept “E-Transfers”.
